About Me
I’m a proud “Hoosier”, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, raised in the small suburb of Speedway, home of the world famous Indianapolis 500.
I attended Indiana University, Bloomington, graduating 1982, Kelly School of Business, double major Marketing & Management. With a fairly severe economic recession then, I had to get creative with finding a career path to follow.
As a long time fan of all things “Disney”, I researched the Walt Disney Co., and moved to Orlando, FL starting in Disney World’s Resort Division (my first real estate experience) which led to a progression of jobs and responsibilities in their Telecommunications division over the next five years.
1984: Disney purchased ARVIDA, a Resort & Community developer based in Boca Raton, FL, owner of the Boca Raton Hotel among other residential and commercial real estate sites in Boca. My Disney job duties frequently had me traveling to Boca and in 1988 I decided to leave Disney and take a position with a Boca Raton based telecom firm.
This firm grew substantially over the next five years, and I used my hotel/telecom experience in designing and marketing services to the resort industry, again, more real estate related experience!
1994: I joined a start-up real estate software company to lead their marketing & sales group. Over the next ten years I rose to the position of Chief Executive Officer of this company. In 2004, due to the serious illness of a close family member, I decided to retire from the company. Five years later I was ready to get back to work and decided to pursue a second college degree, from Boca Raton’s Florida Atlantic University.
I then returned to real estate as an investor, “flipping”, then as a landlord. 2012: got my residential real estate license and began helping others to become owners.
Past seven years I have been leading my “South Florida Real Estate Safari” to help others find and obtain the biggest and best deals! My motto is “Providing Solutions and Delivering Dreams”.
